OT: 2013 Playoffs

Post#1 » by The59Sound » Tue May 7, 2013 2:48 am

Thought it might be nice to have a thread on here tracking this year's playoffs.

The Chicago Bulls exemplify everything the Jazz give lip service to, but have none of. What a well-coached team, and what a group of fighters. They've been a pleasure to watch.

I also forgot just how damn good Andrew Bogut is when he's got anything resembling good health.

Lots of good defensive teams left in the playoffs. That should say something about where the team's priorities should be.

Lindsey and KOC keep saying they've emphasized to Ty that the jazz have to be better defensively. Let's see if he does anything about it.

Any way, I'm rooting for the Grizzlies, Spurs and Bulls.

Despite the results tonight, I have no doubt the Heat will win it all. The big questions will be who will be the Steph Curry's of this playoffs who make a name for themselves. There;s gonna be one more.

The overriding theme of the playoffs for me is how much d-rose makes me throw up in my mouth... sitting on the bench watching injured teammates hobble up and down the court fighting with everything theyve got. I realize he wants to make sure his uterus is fully healed before returning to game action- the ovaries and fallopian tubes are delicate body parts. He is only 24 and has a long career of having Joakim Noahs babies ahead of him- because clearly thats who the MAN is on that team...

Jazz fans would be going ballistic. Remember Boozer and Ak sitting out... oh man.

As much as I hate them, Warriors have been entertaining as all get out these playoffs. Curry is a superstar.

He's quickly becoming one of my favorite players. Yeah, hes a jacker, but he's not an ass about it. Kinda like Durant.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

I also remember Memo effectively ending his career after playing hurt.

Rose has been cleared for literally months... Boozers was a bitch. I never personally had a problem with AK's. Memo was a God. Church of Memo for life!

Great series so far.

I am rooting for Miami, only because of Lebron.

I am probably alone here

W/ westbrook out, harden gone, OKC is a shell of what they were last year, and they couldn't beat the heat then. so out of who's left, who has the most legit shot of taking out the heat?? might just be the grizz. they have a big time advantage down low..

Not sure I'm prepared to live in a world where the Grizzlies franchise gets a banner before the Jazz.

Idk that he outplayed him. Deron didn't play bad. The Bulls are just the better team. And its kinda hard to compare a pf and a pg play wise. The D and players and everything else they face are vastly different every night. If by outplaying him you mean his team progressed further then yeah- got a point.

It's not a debate I'm very interested in. Miami will shut boozer down and everyone in jazz land can be happy again.

I guess I want to see if there is anyone who doesn't want to make boozer the villain. all the man does is help his team get to the second round every year, bulls fans get to watch their team. jazz fans get to complain about jefferson.
