Lets not be going around digging up old wounds PP. The Tobias thread is hard to swallow as it is :P

They dodged a bullet when both were gone before they picked. PLEASE don't screw it up and acquire one of them. PLEASE! Especially when Sessions is as good or better than Conley and from the looks of things, it will always be that way.

And what's up with saying Conley is a good defender? If he was, he'd be starting over Lowry, I'd imagine. I don't think even the Memphis fans believe he's a good defender. Maybe on the Bucks he'd be considered good, for in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

Anyways, like I mentioned in the previous thread, I'm only on board if we get a top 10 pick back, breaking down the trade in this manner:

Sessions for Conley
Alexander for a top ten pick.

They're not giving him away. They're using him to land an excellent PG prospect that fits what Skiles wants to do. Sessions doesn't.

I get that, DB. What we don't seem to agree on is Session's worth, because a swap of Sessions for Conley seems fair to me. Why are the Bucks throwing in JA? That's why I think it's safe to assume the Bucks will get at least a top 8 protected pick back.

Lolz.

I'd be much more interested in Sessions/JA for Conley/Arthur.

I'd do that.

I was excited the first 15 games or so when he was putting up 15/6 too. But the fact is, he's sucked since.

Do you mean when he was starting? That might have something to do with it. It seems to me that his play ebbs and flows with his confidence. That said, if you think Sessions sucks, boy are we in for a treat when Conley brings in his monster stats.

God some of these bumps are depressing. Conley and a pick for Sessions / JA? Without trying to jump on team Hambone or anything but I wonder how many solid deals he has put together that the morons in the front office have vetoed that we don't even know about...

I convinced myself that he would one day put it all together and become solid NBA player. Sad that he was an epic bust.

Loved Conley coming out of college and never doubted that he would put it together. It just took him a while to adjust and maybe get his confidence up. It's the same story with guys like John Wall, Paul George, Jrue Holiday, and Andrew Bogut. There was never a chance of any of them being a bust, despite their struggles to produce on a consistent basis during their first few seasons.

Instead of lamenting the opportunity that got away, we should be looking at the next opportunity to get a player like that. I see Evan Turner as being the kind of guy the Bucks should take a chance on.

That type of player is kind of the opposite of a Brandon Jennings, Charlie Villanueva, Channing Frye, or Tyreke Evans - guys who come in with a bang, but throw up all kinds of red flags if you're paying attention.

Anybody else thinking Tobias may have a little Ramon Sessions in him? Put up big numbers as a young guy getting PT on a bad team but when the spotlight comes out, he'll show his true colors as not much more than a 6th man. One can only hope.

Why would we hope that a player sucks? Because we want him to fail so our front office looks a little bit smarter when they're still really **** stupid?

Oh man. This must have been back when I actually cared about the NBA. Because I have a ton of posts and actually seem to know something about a few players that weren't on the Bucks.

He'd be No. 1 on my list too. I still think he can be a very good player in this league. Be interesting to see if the Sixers commit to him with Collins gone. Much of Turner's issues may have stemmed from a frosty relationship with Collins.

I had a friend who bought a Sessions jersey a couple of days before this rumor came out and he was freaking out thinking he had just wasted $50 or whatever he spent on the jersey.
