The reality is simple, it starts with the coach... I would prefer mcMillan or Scott but if we keep DA (oh god), we need to get his players...the 1, 2 & 5 are set... Nash & Blake at 1... Kobe & Meeks at 2... D12 & Hill at 5... We need a few forwards than off to the races... Jamison, Ebanks & Artest are gone... Clark may stay... We need to look at reasonable options such as Barnes, Garcia, Day that can stretch the floor and provide energy... Pau will be dumped for picks, youth and role players & Artest will be amnestied... That is the Lakers this offseason... We could be a legit 3 or 4 seed with some solid forwards to complement our core... We need energy, youth and length...

Why Scott? If you cause a mutiny on 3 teams, you're a cancer of a coach. JKidd just carried him over the line on O and Martin on D is all

I really don't see anyone other than Phil Jackson/Popovich/Coach K or Thibodeu to be an improvement over Mike D'Antoni.

jerry sloan i don't think he fits this roster. he's lacks the flexibility to adjust imo. always been a hard ass and i don't think he'll mesh well with the players.

george karl, i'll take him over mda.

rick adelman, eh, toss up for me.

stan van gundy, not an option with d12 here.

jvg, i'd take him too over mda.

lionel hollins, i'd take him too if forced to choose.

mike woodson, nah, i think he's kinda terrible. he doesn't really do anything well.

larry brown, def. pass on him. his time has passed.

coach k, not really an option.

Doc is a bit overrated. Having KG, Rondo, Pierce and Ray Allen helped his cause.
Jerry Sloan is a one system guy just like D'antoni. Also we dont have the personnel for that system.
George Karl is essentially Mike Dantoni
Addelman is a decent coach, but I dont think he is exponentially better than D'antoni.
Stan and Jeff are ok coaches as well(I dont think they're worth firing mike though)
Hollins is a decent coach, but nothing special
Woodson is trash. Possibly one coach Mike has the edge over.
