Isn't that circumventing the salay cap?

Signing at a discounted rate one season to get "rewarded" the next off-season doesn't seem to be in the "spirit" of the cap rules :-)

Didn't Minnesota get busted for doing something like this with KG?

It was with Joe Smith and they got into a LOT of trouble. If there was such a deal with Mayo, you'd never hear about it. Unless the FBI was involved or something.

Yeap, doesn't mean they have a verbal deal or anything like that but you are correct there is that rumor you posted from ESPN insider.

He's Ben Gordon.

I'd like a guard that's at least 6'5 and doesn't remind me of Stuckey.

But he's no where near as good as BG was at Chicago. No thanks.

I'm not sure on mayo. Honestly sometimes I like him and then sometimes I watch him in 4rth quarter when it counts and he doesn't look good to me at all. I'd like to pick up Shabazz and put him in the shooting guard spot then sign josh smith for the max. Resign maxiell.

Knight/2nd rounder
Stuckey/ bazz/ Middleton
Smith/singler
Monroe/ Villanueva/ Jebko
Drummond / maxiell

Hopefully bazz takes Stuckeys spot
