I'd be comfortable offering OJ 34 million over 4 years. That's what Ryan Anderson earned last summer after a better "breakout" season than Mayo had. If he wants significantly more, and there's a team willing to pay it, then let them.
With teams saving for 2013 and looking to avoiding taking on long-term salary because of the punitive tax being imposed, I'm comfortable with a patient approach. While I'm not necessarily in love with other options, if waiting can result in getting a guy like JJ Redick, Jarrett Jack, or Kevin Martin for nearly half of Mayo's price tag, it's the smarter move to make.

I cant see Mayo leaving Dallas... one of the main reasons he went there was to play for Carlisle... with the way things ended this season, I cant see him leaving on that note
