My brother texted me and said that he saw Brook Lopez in a Barnes & Noble in Burlington. Peculiar.

He's very big on comic books so that's probably why he was there..

Also - I like your username 5% more, now that I know you actually have a brother.

if you knew anything about burlington, nc you would know how random this is. why the hell would lopez be in burlington? there is nothing there but a coat factory. was he driving down 95/85 heading to the beach? or down south?

Very strange indeed.

gotcha. I was focusing on the book store, not the city because as you said I had no idea what Burlington is.

Lulz, come on Fats. Burlington Coat Factory is named for Burlington, New Jersey. I'm not even sure we have one of those around here anymore. I'm not gonna call it Charlotte or anything but the area's not as dead anymore. And the Barnes & Noble in question isn't far from Greensboro, which makes slightly more sense. Does Lopez have any ties to the state?

Yep that's right

HOW AWESOME IS THAT 8-)

My in-laws, who know nothing about basketball, bought me a Morrison one for my birthday several years ago. I didn't have the heart to tell them how much I thought he sucked.

Fair to say it didn't get worn all that much though.

Diop has gotten a fair bit of wear already.

Just wearing it gives me + 2 strength, although my free throw shooting goes down - 5

I felt the same way. I was obviously hoping he'd come to UNC but I figured Kentucky or FSU.
