Feels good that they finally won a series and can't really complain about a 4-3 road trip after going into Tampa and Boston.

nope. he's been vintage jose bautista in may.
the team as a whole seems to be having better AB's

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

Next up, a lengthy winning streak.

We've been having better at bats for awhile now, well at least most of our hitters have been.
Oh, and it's good to see Bautista is back to being a BEAST. He should stay at #2 in the lineup, makes sense, if we can get Bau one more bat a game that's huge.

That's key to salvaging anything from this season, and will depend on the starting pitching.

I don't think we have the starting pitching to put together any kind of extended winning streak. It's a looooong road back to .500 but at least the bats have finally started to wake up.

On the Jays radio before Lawrie's HR they mentioned that while he'd 1 for 10 or whatever in the series to that point, he had hit the ball hard in 7 of those 9 outs. So we might be seeing the return of Lawrie the top-flight prospect. Hope so. I pegged him as being the next Mike Schmidt when he came up two years ago.

Well, then we won't put up a long winning streak. Aiming for .500 sounds so Toronto.

So our offense is coming around just as our Pitching is all hurt. Hopefully they can weather the injury bug for a few weeks and all things come together.

At this point, that's the aim. They have to get their heads above water before they can think about anything beyond that. Tampa had a pretty bad start to the year but they finally got back and over .500 and look to be in a 4-team race in the East. The Jays will just be lucky to get back into that by August if they play .640 ball.
