I dunno anything about Tayo Popoola but on the Tuesday Club podcasts he sounds like the nicest guy ever.

Damian is the one that's always super positive about Arsenal, right? I don't mean him. I mean the one who screamed "Not you Bentley!" :D

^^ That cracked me up, but that was Damian, I believe. He is the super-positive one. Never says anything negative about Wenger, in case he hears about it somehow.

They're both pretty nice guys though

that was a nice strong showing.

i know he scored and that i dwell on this, but Ramsey sucked again today. he's way too willing to shoot from distance and he gives the ball away far too often.

Ramsey was good today, don't see how he sucked at all. He's been one of our better players since February. Even won Arsenal player of the month for April. Don't know what you want from him, his energy has been fantastic, he's been good defensively, works harder for the shirt then anyone.

Ramsey led the team in tackles again today, had one turnover (Cazorla, Kos and Poldi had two each, several other players had one), was dispossessed once (Walcott was four times). He was second on the team in key passes behind Cazorla, and scored a nice goal. Just don't see it

Looks like Arteta could miss the Newcastle game. Ramsey and Jack in midfield then, I guess. Giroud will be back, at least.

without going back to watch it, i swear there was more than one turnover. in general though, i don't like what he does when he gets forward. it looks to me like he usually wants to be the one to make the killer pass or the long shot rather than just keep moving the ball. i could be wrong, but that's what i think when i watch him play.

damn watching that video brought up a lot of memories good and bad

1. winning the league at old trafford in 02
2.the ruud PK miss and keown celebrating in his face ahahaha , loved it
3. that mauling of inter at the san siro
4.how unlucky we were in the damn 08 EPL campaign , could have won that if it werent for unfortunate injuries and our captain gallas emotional self destruction after that birmingham game just killing the team
5. RVPs red card against barca , still stand by that as the worst i've ever seen , we might not have won that game but we had a goal as cushion sighs , now that I think of it barca were gifted the CL in 11' and in 09' ,this GOAT team blah blah blah couldnt win it without the refs help , mugs.

and if we eliminated barca that year we really could have made a run at the CL , we were close to united's level that season , they weren't that much better than us.

I actually think Ramsey's has been one of our better performers the last few months.
and I think willing to shoot too much is a good thing considering all the criticism we used to have about passing the ball too much

He has been, and I'm really happy for him. He had a rough time of it coming back from a horrendous injury and being pushed into the Cesc role after he and Nasri left, and Rosicky was injured. He didn't suit that role, and he wasnt ready for it. You could never fault his effort and heart though, so I'm glad to see him playing well again.

The RvP red was bad, but the game we lost the undefeated streak to united utas the worst Ive seen. If ever an EPL game was fixed, that was it.
