If Pittsburgh plays like they did against the Islanders then Ottawa is going to stomp them. Pittsburgh really only won this series because Nabokov was doing his best Fleury impression and they had no alternative to go to while Pittsburgh did.

Of course the Caps are going to a Game 7.

Doesn't help that the Rangers had 5 Power Plays and we had none, but we didn't deserve to win today either way.

Should be a hell of a Game 7...

I know having a Ducks-Kings series would have been great, but having Kings-Sharks along with Wings-Hawks is the best the league could have hoped for out West.

Leafs blew it big time. Wow, just wow. 4-1 with 15 minutes left in the 3rd, Boston comes back and wins in OT.

Capitals KOed again, and the sky remains blue.

Too many emotions, still shaking.

DID give up on the team. Call me a bandwagoner, but y'all woulda done the same the way this was going. Never shut it off though.

What a nail biting experience, great series. This team went above and beyond my expectations, even though the ending was a bit disappointing. The year before the bruins won their cup they were up 3-0 in their series and 3-0 up in game 4, and went on to lose both the game and the series. This experience moving forward for such a young team will hopefully prove invaluable.

It was one of the biggest collapses in game 7 history. Never have been this depressed about sports. Full credit to Boston for getting back and winning it though.

It just does not feel like Jonathan Quick is gonna let in another goal ever.

In an interview with Slava Malamud of the Russian newspaper Sport-Express after the game on Monday night, Ovechkin didn't hide his displeasure with the officiating and even took it up to another level.

"I am not saying there was a phone call from (the league), but someone just wanted Game 7," he told the paper.

"For the ratings. You know, the lockout, escrow, the league needs to make profit. I don't know whether the refs were predisposed against us or the league. But to not give obvious penalties (against the Capitals), while for us any little thing was immediately penalized."

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=423143
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

I am. I just love seeing the Leafs lose, I work with so many east coast guys that talk about nothing but how good the Leafs are all day long so seeing them lose like that brings me some smug satisfaction.
