Actually if you look at advanced stats, he was pretty bad on offense this year but he's normally pretty good. Like better than anyone we have except Monroe. TS% of 52 and efg around 50%, at 25% usage. Very good oreb and assist rate too. Altogether he's usually a nice offensive player....just not someone you want to pay $17m a year for if you don't have to.

I think it's largely dependent upon who the Pistons select in the draft. As a Michigan native and a current Wolverine, I really hope Pistons can draft Trey Burke.

Dalembert
Brandon Wright
Millsap
Smith
Calderon(only as a back-up)
Aminu(maybe)
Allen
Mayo
Ellis
Hickson
Iggy

Anyone on this list...We need talent on our team in the worst way...I'm tired of being laughed at in the gym because my Pistons aren't winning... 8-)
so you assume i didnt want every game, why? if you paid attention to advanced stats youd know that no matter how good he is on defense..hes not good on offense. he puts up empty stats. and if we play him at the three? hes going to be even worse on offense and not the type of defensive player he normally is.

Please explain how Petro/Horford/Smith was the hawks best playoff front court yet Drummond/Monroe/Smith can't work.

First of all, that's never going to happen. Why would Pierce want to come to a sh*tty rebuilding team to spend the last few seasons of his NBA career? Secondly, why would we want Pierce? He's old and will have retired by the time our young core has developed into contenders.

^He has no choice with a trade. As to why we'd want him - veteran scorer one a one year deal - prevents Dumars from maxing out on OJ Mayo/some other player that doesn't deserve it or trading for Eric Gordon and his long term big deal.
