No offense to you BMP, But just at RealGM you post 2000 times a year... And it always seems to be that 90% of what you say adds no value because it is just a repeat of the 10% you already said 100 times...

I think in the last two months I have read over and over again that you
#1 Hate Noel
#2 think we should make the playoffs next year and not tank.

Thank you, I agree.

I only post those comments after the same people post the same thing involving "I want Noel". So, it is only fair for me to reply to their comment.

Because those younger big men are probably not as good as we think they are. People just assume that since they are young, they are going to be great some day.

I'm looking at their stats and where they were drafted, everything screams underutilized to me.

My main beef with how it all works is that they dont show the actual lottery draw process itself. That is all done behind closed doors which is obviously why there are so many conspiracy theories. At the end of the day, if the league was genuinely not operating suspiciously, then wouldnt they be making a more serious effort to prove that they were legit? And if so, the first thing they would do to show that would be an open to the public draw of the lottery balls.

Same here. I'm not so sure how the owners/team reps are assured that the lottery isn't fixed. Last year's lottery was too suspect for comfort.

I am not trying to be mean. I just think your opinion would be respected a lot more if you would just stayed it once and then back it up with your facts or your perception. Understand we are not always going to have the same opinion and that is the purpose of a fan forum. Repeating something over and over again just to get your point across dilutes what you are trying to say and makes your opinion obnoxious and becomes a joking matter versus something that is discussed in the manner in which you wish it to be. Just trying to give you some older and wiser advice because I am guessing you are about 23 to 24 years old at best.

Well. I don't believe in Tanking. Ever. That is a poor way to play a sport as a professionals. If teams continue to tank on purpose, then they need to change the lottery to where every team in the lottery has an equal chance at the 1st overall pick.

But, I find it ironic that the same people can say "BBD Sucks", "Noel should be our pick" and "I want to tank" over and over again while anyone who disagree's is not respected. Thus, it is like we have to listen to those comments and not be allowed to disagree with those repeated posts with our own. Hence, even if I am half joking or not, I continue to voice my opinion when people get over-zealous with their BBD, Noel and Tank comments that I have to see over and over again. People don't complain about seeing those continual posts.

I've been saying for years that the NBA should do away with incentivizing bad play and just give every team a 1 in 30 shot at the top pick. If there was no reward for missing the playoffs, do you think Philly tries a bit harder to improve it's roster? The "downside" is that a team like the Spurs or Heat could end up with a top pick, but it would definitely even things out in the long run. Top picks aren't everything. Looking at last years draft, the best player was clearly Kyrie, but considering injuries and such, I would say the guys who have helped their teams just as much were Faried and Leonard. Those guys were both picked outside the lottery anyway. If the NBA really cared about quality of play, they would do away with rewarding bad play.

I like Bill Simmons idea of having the top 7 teams get an automatic entry to the playoffs and the other 8 teams in a conference playing a single-elimination tournament for that 8th slot. Not only does it sound fun, which is really the point of sports, but it also means that teams in the high 20s will play hard at the season's close rather than tank. This idea only adds three games to the conference calendar.

Maybe not all 30 teams, but all non-playoff teams have an equal chance at the top Pick. Then, teams would truly fight for the playoffs every year or fight to win out of pride and chemistry because they really hate to lose instead of allowing teams players to just give up.

My favorite idea regarding the lottery is leaving it as is, but adding the two 8th playoff seeds into the lottery, and as an even other possible addition is to shuffle No8 with No9 or 10 in the lottery.

The fact the worst team getting the best pick hasn't happened in forever is fair enough on the deep lotto end as is already too.

Alot of teams are making lotto noise with a situation like getting lucky at around No5 lotto spot with a No7 worst record type and selecting great players like Lillard. And those races for No8 just got serious; playoff gate money and lottery attendance would make every lotto team near No8 battle for it like its the No1 seed in the conference. If a No7 seed really wants to drop from facing a No2 team to a No1 team like Miami, they're not quite thinking, playoffs experience and upsets are there more for No7 playoff teams than No8 teams. And the No8-No1 playoff series are generally ugly always for the No8, now atleast the fans and Mngmt know a lottery spot is coming too again.

Kansas isn't a bad fit for Wiggins. UK is just too deep/talented. A lot of underachievers have come through KU lately but I'm not sure you can pinpoint that onto the program.

I disagree with choosing to tank, but I think tanking is our only choice. Our team is very young. Vets like BBD and Afflalo are starting caliber guys but with them we are not a playoff team, so I feel like moving them elsewhere would help us sustain more success in the long-term (more assets) and in the short-term (better draft position).

I would be all for trying to make a playoff push if we could get our own James Harden. But I'm not even sure there is a Rudy Gay out there. Which leaves tanking as our only option.. IMO. And I value your dissenting opinion BMP, and I agree that as long as people want Noel, want to tank, and want to ship out BBD, you can say whatever you want.
