Dieng is already 23 years old, and his offense regressed. "Dieng took a step back in terms of productivity this season, converting just 28% of his attempts from the post...".
I wouldn't be surprised if he's there at 26.

KCP looks great for a few minutes, but seems like a bit of an idiot. His complete inability to know how much time is on the clock, and what to do with that datum, is a bit bewildering, and looks like it cost his team a couple games... He also looks weak, has poor ball handling, and can't finish.
Could be a 3 and D guy though. Like a stupid Shved, without the ball skills, but a more consistent shot.

Yes. The Wolves have a 1.7% chance to get #1.

2.0% for #2 and 2.4% for #3 and 12.2% for #10 and 0.4% for #11. Anyone want to wager on which number we'll get?

I think the Dieng for Williams feeling has more to do with Williams than it does Dieng, but that's just me. I'm also a bit weary of KCP; I'd probably rather trade up or go with McCollum.

During the final four Deng really surprised me with his passing and his midrange jumper. Nobody is going to use him as a go to post up offensive player, so I don't think that matters much. I'm guessing he'll go top 20.

So it's 3 unrealistic options. Awesome.

We wouldn't use Dieng in the post much anyway. We already have two of the best post up bigs in Pek and Love. We just need a good defensive and passing Center to back them up. The way I see it, Dieng can be a taller version of Chuck Hayes, who played under Adelman in Houston. The defense, blocking and passing would be a really welcome addition.

Hard to predict this sort of thing, but I think it's viable... I feel like D-Will + #9 (and maybe + #26, too, if necessary) gets us Oladipo... and I think that's a likely move. Yes, it's giving up a fair amount, but Oladipo is coveted by Saunders and really is a nice fit next to Rubio (awesome young defensive backcourt with two smart, unselfish players who apply pressure at both ends of the court constantly). I also think D-Will's time is up (whether it's this deal or a different one)... all signs right now point to Love, AK, and Pek coming back, with Adelman returning as coach, which means D-Will wouldn't have much of a role here anyway.

The Suns are a prime candidate to do this sort of trade with... they will likely pick at #4, D-Will is a hometown guy for them, and getting two picks instead of one makes sense for them, too (since they are basically rebuilding completely and need all the prospects they can handle).

Noel and McLemore will probably go #1 and #2... if not, it's because the Magic went with Burke... the Cavs will likely pick #3 and will probably go for Porter (SF is by far their biggest need, and Porter is usually mocked at #3 anyway). That means Oladipo will very likely be there with the Suns pick.

I can just see us winning a top 2 pick and then picking Oladipo and letting McLemore or Noel slide....

Wish we would have used that logic instead of taking D-Will. Valanciunas or Kanter waiting in the wings would be pretty nice right now.

Yes, but that's a little different. McLemore and Noel both fill needs. DWill did not. But if the scouting staff really thinks Oladipo is better, they shouldn't cave to popular opinion...

C-Pope has incredible footwork. It's amazing how fast he can get his shot off. Reminds me of Curry or Martin in that way.
