Starting Ramon Ortiz in major league baseball games will garner that type of reaction, I think.

Ramon Ortiz enjoying the post- RA DIckey treatment. It works, pitching the day after. We need a solid 8 game winning streak. 4 more.

The funny thing is there isn't much difference in velocity from Dickey's knuckleball to Ortiz's slider.

Mark my words, Adam Lind and Ramon Ortiz will lead us to greatness this season.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

The Jays were really helped out by the fact that Frisco can't play on turf... at all. That series was comical. :D

Was at the game, really lively and pretty impressive crowd for a Wednesday game (the weather was fantastic). The fielding errors were, as stated, comical and I would have felt real bad for Vogelsong, but it's about time the Jays got lucky for once! His confidence was completely shattered after the blunders by Scutaro and Pagan. It's fun watching the Jays' bats go berzerk.

p.s. the guy hanging the Bruins jersey is a punk - we saw it at the game and we were pissed

OT: Are the Jays the only team that don't have dirt cut out around the bases and the infield?

Would it be too expensive for them to do that? It should make it alot more easier for the infielders if it was dirt and not turf.

Another observation, every time Melky steps up to the plate he looked very dangerous. He has elite hitting written all over him. Once Reyes comes back, if the hitters fulfill their potential, we might have the best 1-4 hitters in Baseball: Reyes-Melky-Bautista-Encarnacion.

Jays were the rebound girlfriend after Monday's fiasco.

Tampa has the same setup, it's a turf thing.

Also, we need a new series thread, stick with what works :)

Tampa does have turf, but that Dark brown (looks nice) around the the bases is dirt.

The series thread will be up soon.
