Depends on what kind of personnel surrounds them. If the team lacks any all-star talent, I'd prefer Kobe. If the team is stacked like the current Heat team, I'd choose Lebron because its a safer bet that he'd get everyone involved...

I'm talking about the very last shot of the game, and on those situations, any player would have a low percentage, and the shot most likely would be extremely difficult. Of course that Kobe's personality and drive makes him try too hard and too often, but he is a tough shot master despite his poor shot selection in display so often. His poor decisions teamwise is what prevents him to be the chosen one in this thread.

If you've been watching basketball at all you would have notice he has missed way way more last second shots then he has made. Someone just put the statline up or something. There is no conceivable proof that he is any more clutch than a say melo(who statistically is one of the best) or a Durant, lbj.

If I need a fade away three with 6 guys defending from 27 feet I might consider Kobe. Just based on what his fans say. If I need a guy to close out a game and make high percentage decisions form a scoring and playmaking stand point I take lebron.

Yeah a game where everyone's shot wasn't going in and an all time great Celtics defense zoning in on Kobe. The bottom line is no one's shot was going in, the most important part of that game was rebounding and Kobe got 15, which was the most in the entire game. In the 4th quarter Kobe was more aggressive and got himself to the FT line and made the necessary plays in order to win the game.
