So Downtown Scottsdale hey?

I just caught this episode of Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares.

Anyone ever been here?

Years ago when they first opened, was entirely uneventful and the food was mediocre and we decided Scottsdale had better options.

Watching that Kitchen Nightmares episode, they looked like completely different people, maybe they are facing tough times, lots of stress, bipolar, or whatever. I don't know, but they should get out of the business if they truly do act like that everyday.

Old ugly dude with money sucks up to primadonna trophy wife who cant take criticism. I love how they have a horrible employee turnover and they steal from their employees yet she is doing everything right in her mind!

I'm not saying that she married him just because he could afford to buy her a restaraunt... ok maybe I am.

What the hell did I just watch? I seriously cannot believe how a business can be run So damn badly. You cannot script that level of disaster. Damn!

They literally deserve the honor of the worst run business in the World! How are these creeps not bankrupt yet? Talk crap to customers, yell at them and almost fight them because you make them wait over an hour for a disgusting pizza and even try to make them pay for no food?

That was hilarious and appalling to watch at the same time

And that broad needs some Serious therapy, plain and simple. She is hopeless. I guess I would be considered a hater too? :P

If we can all dress as Gordon Ramsay and put on fake British accents, I'm down.

Well, news here reported the other day that they are fully booked for their "re-opening" coming soon.

Guess rubbernecking train wrecks happens in the restaurant business as well, hope those people enjoy paying just to complain on Reddit/Yelp/Facebook later about it,

I always liked the Kitchen Nightmares series since it brings back memories of when I was working in a large, quality restaurant back when I was a teenager.

Some peeps think that Gordon Ramsey's too much of a psycho, but any head chef in a big/high standard restaurant will be a yelling maniac to keep things running. Most cooks in those sorta restaurants are guys, the work is VERY physical, and things are run military style, else the efficiency and quality of work won't be up to standards.
It's not some mama's kitchen type company on the upper echelon.

That couple on the other hand is obviously a total incompetent nutcase.

My guess on Amy's restaurant being fully booked is that peeps are going there just to watch the trainwreck and get some laughs out of it. Their whole act on the show/news/internet was likely calculated, innovative way of bringing clients in...

Maybe they found some zealot christians who enjoy the holier than thou gig as well

I would totally go there to get yelled and threatened by the owner. Would be good fun trolling them I think.

Ok it's on.... im working on my Bobby Flay impersonation. C'mon everyone cant be Ramsey!

I'm working on throwing my voice like a ventriloquist also so if the mrs is there I can mess with her by making random 'Meow' sounds since she is also a crazy cat lady.

Any of you Arizonians going to be making an appearance at their "Grand Re-Opening" and Press Conference?

Sounds like some good ol'-fashioned slapstick entertainment to me!

I read somewhere that they have forbidden the mention of reddit or yelp when you making the reservation. This is going to be extremely high profile. I was outside Amy's when Channel 3 was there talking to the owners and interviewing some people outside(though it didn't get aired that night). They are opening up tomorrow(Tuesday May 21st) I believe.

Pretty funny stuff. This business is doomed. Once people get their laughs out of driving the owners crazy they won't ever go back. I was trying to get to lunch there the other day simply because I wanted to try and piss the owner off. I've heard people go there and make ANY comment about the food and he will start talking **** to you. Sounded like a good time, too bad they are closed at the moment.
