Not with this year's Dirk. With any other version of Dirk in the last 12 years they would be pretty scary. Certainly with 05-12 Dirk they would be really tough. That team is essentially a deeper version of the Spurs plus prime Dirk....

I think Manu would be a better option at the 2 then two guys who don't even play in the NBA.

Tha's a scary complete team. WIth better SG's I could see them winning a chip.
For the first time in my life I realized that I was truly happy.......then I remembered I was drunk.

They are probably the favorites with Miami. The best frontcourt in the NBA by far, elite outside shooting, great defensive role players. I would rather start Batum at the 2 though, and start Deng at the 3, who you left out. Batum can easily defend SG's, so i would have a complete lineup.

Parker
Batum
Deng
Dirk
Marc Gasol

Just beastly, really. Elite shooting, an elite defensive anchor, one of the best half-court option of all-time in Dirk, great defensive wings.

My bench, Noah, Gasol, Kirilenko frontcourt, and Bellinelli to run with Ricky. They would annihilate benches in a rude fashion. Only Miami could beat this team imo.

Asik and Ibaka have no room!

Deng and Thabo are good suggestions and I completely forgot about them!
