Noel at SG, the Magic would have serious height advantages there!

not that shooting is the only thing for SGs, but here is a tweet from Chad Ford:

Chad Ford ‏@chadfordinsider 1m
Top shooters from NBA Draft Combine on Thur: Mike Muscala (76%), Tony Snell (74%), Reggie Bullock & Grant Jerrett (72%), Allen Crabbe (70%)

Chad Ford ‏@chadfordinsider 5m
Worst shooters from NBA Draft Combine on Thur: Myck Kabongo (32%), Shabazz Muhammad (36%), Andre Roberson (42%)

Bullock & Crabbe are considered to have great looking shots. Shabazz is going to tumble down the draft board, he is listed as a SF, but he didn't measure that great either, says he wants to play SG in pros.

I would imagine that Ben Mc would have initially the best potential. But, you just never know. There are other players that fall in the draft for what ever dumb reason and get picked up by the right team. They get into the right situation with that team and do really well. Jimmy Butler with the Bulls comes to mind. I guess we'll see come this time next year. :)

Some team is going to get a steal with Muhammed. If he drops into the teens, he could be a great bench scorer for a team like the Pacers who have zero bench or Milwaukee he could be dominant. He is at a disadvantage right now because of the nature of the drills. He isn't going to hit a bunch of jumpers off the dribble. If there was a drill for getting physical and finding an 18 footer, he would dominate that.

I have no idea where he will go, sometimes guys fall, but given recent discussion, you know where it seems like a perfect fit -- Thunder. Probably the exact atmosphere he needs. Good team, no BS, would get humbled. At the same time, could compete for that tertiary create-for-myself guy on the second unit.

I'm not particularly a fan of his, but in that context I think he makes sense. And I agree with you re: Pacers, but not so much the Bucks, though they're just a train wreck in general.

In fact, provided they have the right "voices," I really agree with the Pacers nod. And, for the first time in a while, I kind of suspect that the Pacers actually do have the right "voices." Good call.

Re: him being a steal, I think it's totally dependent upon the team. I may be way off, but he totally seems like one of those organizational specific guys (which I alluded to in the above.) If he gets in the wrong place (incidentally I think the Bucks would be a bad place,) I think he will "flop," so to speak. And if he get drafted by the wrong team, he just screams "second team" draft pick. That guy who looks like a draft bust by the team who drafted him, but then after his rookie deal, or maybe near the end of his rookie deal when the give up on him and trade him, goes to the right place and flourishes. I don't know, such a prediction sounds so specific, and perhaps unrealistic in penciling him in, but that's the vibe I get from him considering talent and the rest of the package.

Not interested in the position. We should Get the most talented and injury free player in that weak draft. And I truly believe it is McLemore.

Still sayin that Dipo provides the only sure thing in this draft: a great defender. Everyone else has question marks...but you know Dipo is going to be a great defender.

Trey Burke @ #1/#2 or trade down and draft Dipo!

Wouldn't call Dipo a great defender. I see him as more of a Dwyane Wade type of guy who will gamble, get steals and block shots, while not really locking guys down. Still, you need those guys.

Come on, the guy is definitly a great defender, he is very athletic and quick, plays extremly hard and can guard positions 1-3.
As soon as he enters the league he would be considered amongst guys like Bradely, Shumpert, Tony allen etc, at worst youre getting an elite defender with Oladipo.

Watch his draft video from 5:30 to 7:30 and tell me that he just gambles:

Exactly. Everyone else in the Top 10 of this draft is purely potential. Dipo is a sure thing on at least one end. It'd be in our best interest to try and trade down to take him. Especially if the trading down results in additional first rounder for next year.

Shabazz seems to be doing everything he possibly can to reduce his value.
