Season was great (well the post middle-aged man in pink underwear part), reunion sucked. The
Spoiler:
winner has evolved into one of best characters of the show, I actually thought, if they end after this season it would be a perfect ending. I wouldn't call it it was obvious he would win (mid-game), but he became last one deserving. Brenda's eviction was brutal but that's what the loved ones crap is causing. Cochran delivered and his last council answers were great (to Malcom especially). Unlike Boston Rob's his last season his socially awkward underdog comments made the show worthwhile even when it was his game to lose. Sad to see what Dawn became she was on par with Lisa Whelchel awful.

Unfortunately I was spoilered to who won before the season even started, accidentally. You're right though on the reunion, Erik even went on a rant at how pathetic it was that half of the jury including Sherri, one of the finalists, wasn't even allowed to speak. Then half the cast was sequestered to the audience.

I think Jeff Probst is looking for ratings and drama and big players more than what Survivor was originally about: a social experiment about people cast away on an island and how they get along. The first few seasons, it was all about actually surviving the wilderness and the locales. The past 5 seasons have been about blindsides and power plays.

If you want to know more about the upcoming season, look below. The game hasn't started yet, day 1 starts filming May 17, and surprise surprise they are in the Philippines again. But as for the cast list:

Spoiler:
Blood vs. Water - Survivors vs. loved ones. 10 returning players, and 10 of their loved ones. Rupert is back for the 2942184 time, with his wife. Also locked in are Gervase from season 1, Tina, winner of season 2, Tyson from HvV, RC from 2 seasons ago, and Kat with her boyfriend, the winner of the last Big Brother. Its rumored that either Colton Cumbie, the flamboyant gay that everyone hated from a few seasons ago, took Rob Cesternino's place because his wife, Nicole, also from reality, is pregnant and was supposed to be on.

I would like to take this opportunity to deny that I am in the crack video, or that I was ever a member of the group Color Me Badd.

I'm so tired of him. I wish they would just go ahead and kill him off.

Yeah, but why do we have to sit here and watch him week by week. I'd much prefer screen time for the imp or arya.

yeah. and it has no connection to anything else happening in the show right now. either tie it in to something (haven't finished the books, so i dunno) happening, or move on.

saw the new star trek movie today. damn, that woman pictured in the previous thread page was totally wasted in that movie. so much was wasted in that movie, including my time. i think i am just hopeless for big action films anymore. when's the last big action sci-fi film that didn't fall apart in the last half hour?
