Lol Kabongo is not better than Schroeder.

Schroeder doesn't speak any English? Dude he grew up in Germany, of course he speaks English. Try finding a German under 40 that speaks no English, it's not easy. Schroeder is born in Germany and his mother is from Gambia, guess what the official language in Gambia is? Oh it is English too.

Good thing Kerssed is not GM, our team would be full of Terrence Williams'.

I even like Kabongo but there is a reason Kabongo will be an early 2nd round pick while Schroeder will be a late lottery pick.

Schroeder is quicker, faster, better shooter, younger.. Schroeder is on a different level compared to Kabongo as a prospect.

Check any interview with him, he doesn't speak English. DraftExpress has one of the most recent interviews with him, and he had to have a translator do it with him. Do a little research before you wrongfully try to make someone look stupid based on you own assumptions, as it tends to backfire.

As for the rest, Kabongo is just as quick/fast. he might not be as good of a shooter, but has twice the courtvision and passing skills, which is more important when it comes to a PG.

As far for his language barrier, maybe they say he doesn't speak English but If he grew up in Germany there is no way he wouldn't have English lessons at his school or at least few of them. Maybe he's not just good at it, but kids like him (19years old) has English as one of the language classes. For some of them in Europe it's a MUST to know at least one foreign lang.

If he is as good as they say, the basketball will SPEAK for himself I guess.

Because he does not speak English in some of those interviews it does not mean that he can't speak English. I live 35 Miles from where Schroeder grew up and plays in Germany.
He definitely knows English and at least has a basic understanding of it.

Saying he does not know English is definitely wrong.

Having a translator around is very common for interviews when someone is not a native speaker, doesn't mean that person can't speak that language.

Besides Dragic' struggle early had more to do with him being raw and having low basketball iq.

Yup, i was wrong. I posted the same video yesterday in the draft thread. My bad. I read that he didnt speak english, so i youtube'd him, and saw every interview that they had where it was with the english media he was speaking German. It wasnt until yesterday that i finally saw one in english, and i do have to say that his english was about on par with Dragic's when he first entered the league. The DraftExpress interview even mentioned that he was finally speaking english in the interviews and not relying on a translator anymore.
