Reggie to the front office?

Post#1 » by Grang33r » Wed May 15, 2013 5:25 am

Seems like he is interested, if we are. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/22 ... ith-Pacers

I think there is always room in any front office to add knowledgeable people, essp someone as respected as Reggie, not only locally but nationally. I don't even think adding Reggie would minimize Pritchard's role at all. He can be the General Manager, and they can find Reggie a different role and both can work together on the basketball department.

I would imagine that Reggie would be added in a Mel Daniels like role. Director of Player Personnel. I doubt he'd be given any impact over the roster. It's very different listening to him call a game vs., say, listening to Mark Jackson call a game.

I'd love to have him back in some capacity. I imagine we might see Larry come back this off-season though, as Donnie has hinted many times.

Agreed. Maybe they could groom him into a personnel role in time, but I can't see them just handing him the keys.
