Logos and Uniforms

Does anyone think we should change our logo back to the horse with different colors, instead of the teal maybe black and red. Just saw the ESPN graphic (during the Memphis game when they were showing prince's stats) with it in 3d and it looked pretty good. I was thinking bring back the red alt uniforms too. A basketball is just plain and boring. I think it's time to go in another direction. Plus I mean hooper should actually have meaning again.

I would probably suggest bringing in new ALTS or the red ALT, and changing the logo to the horse again.

What would you like to see happen going forward? Discuss.

I've actually wanted them to go back to the horse logo with the blue and red colors for a year or two now. I agree, the basketball is pretty boring, and I actually think the horse looked pretty cool. I'd also like for the Pistons to get new uniforms. I don't really like the way the numbers and the words on the front of the jerseys look. They're too loopy for my taste. If they looked more like the celtics font/numbers (sorry to reference the Celtics jerseys, but they're really nice) I think they'd be better.

no, but that logo's not too bad. i like our color scheme and logo the way it is, nothing flashy , straight to the point, blue color. when we start making our logo look pretty or flashy, doesn't remind me of detroit basketball. Teal was them trying to be flashy

our color scheme has stood the test of time. only thing id want to see changes with that is a grey, blue, red alt. id like to see a more throwback jersey look. i also love the horse logo.

arent there rumors about us getting a new alt?

only thing i remember was reading a list of teams that may have a new alt by 2015. i want one now, though haha.

I like the horse logo with Red, White, and Blue. Also like the dual exhaust DP logo more than the one we use now - the big P logo with the D inside it.

I like both of the horse logos...I think we should add a throwback mid 80s to 90s away jersey imo, or home.

I think they should definitely bring back the horse with the red, white and blue like what Piston Pete posted. The current basketball looks crap imo. Then we could use either the DP exhaust or the combined horse/basketball as our alternate logo. I also think we should go back to having a red alternative uni or have a throwback - we've been wearing the current home and away for years.

Really like the first image PP posted, it's fresh, without being too flashy.

I still have nightmares about those teal uni's, pray we don't get them back.....

i always liked the horse in blue and red.
I wouldn't mind seeing something based around that for an alternate uniform.

off topic, i found an old throwback in a vintage store last week. It has the logo from 78-80 which was the lightning bolt design. its only $18
