I said it months and months ago and nothing has changed.

We are a lock to get the 1st overall pick.

Yep. With a rather weak draft, and the #1 player coming off an injury that will keep him out until Christmas, this will be the year we get some ping pong ball luck and get the #1 pick. That said, I still want it.

Charlotte, Orlando, Phoenix or Sacramento will win it.
Look out for Dallas, Toronto or Detroit to get in the top3, gut feelin.

I think everyone should wear their Okafor jerseys to remind the lottery gods that they owe us one.

Orlando don't deserve anymore #1 overall draft picks. They always leave one way or another (Shaq, Webber/Penny, D12). This has to be our chance to win even if the grand prize is barely better than the consolation prizes. Sacramento has a good chance of getting the David Stern 5 finger discount with the fiasco going on over there with the Maloof's selling the team and trying the fund a new arena.

Paul wasn't #1.

Got you. I guess Orlando is back in the fray for it then.

I really don't care if we win the first pick...I would really rather not which means we will win. Bastards

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the #5 pick. That way next year when we tank, maybe we get a stroke of good luck.

I think this is one of those years where you do not want to have the #1 pick. With no franchise draft prospect available, the change that a player below #1 ends up as the best player in this draft is as high as it will ever be.

Think back to 2006 when Andrea Bargnani went #1, and LaMarcus Aldridge, Brandon Roy, Rudy Gay and Rajon Rondo all went after.
