San Antonio has a better chance of beating the Heat, I'd say. Plus I want to see the Duncan-Parker-Ginobli trio make one last stand and Duncan get his due as the NBA's best player since the Jordan era.
Humble yourself.

Not yet ready to write off Memphis, even after that nasty loss.
Randolph had a historically bad game and I expect him to be back in form for game two.
They're definitely the under dogs though

I know it was garbage time, but DeJuan Blair looked like a man among boys at the end of that game. You think we could sign him for about $3mln, take Rocky's place as the 6'7 PF?

I've been hoping for this, hoping they could do a Dallas and beat Miami with some smart veterans.

Knowing our luck, those ACL-less knees would blow out in the first week right after giving him a Matt Carroll contract.

What a waste. Remember those Hendo vs. T-Will debates? Good grief. I recall being on the T-Will side.

I thought T-Will was gonna an all-star before he was drafted and was really upset when we passed on him, but in hindsight thank god we did. Such a shame to hear about stuff like this...why would you risk jeopardizing your already shaky NBA career with something so stupid.

One thing overlooked - T-Will has a 10-year old son?'! He himself is....(checking wiki) ... 25, turns 26 in June.

Actually Williams was drafted by NJ 11th and we took Hendo at 12. I was also disappointed as I wanted Williams. Sad.

That was the worst defense I've ever seen at the end of a playoff game. I would've thought the Pacers were up by 10.

Re: Around The NBA 2.0
idk if im the only one that still reads the Detroit board for kicks but they are still hilarious
Maybe instead of drafting Burke at #2, they would prefer to have Knight and #8?
Knight and #8 for #2 (McLemore) might be overpaying....
Maybe make it
Knight, Singler, and #8 for #2 (McLemore) and Tobias Harris?

In DETs board defense there are some terrible trades floating around our board as well.

Agreed, but still I ROFLed a bit at them adding a Singler - Harris swap into an otherwise respectable trade offer.

Re: Around The NBA 2.0
We've known for a while now that the Toronto Raptors have set their sights on wooing Denver Nuggets GM Masai Ujiri away from his current gig to take over their basketball operations. Since his contract expires June 30, it's always been a possibility that he could move on from Denver, but now it looks like it may be an inevitability.
Why would Ujiri leave Denver for Toronto? Likewise, why would Denver let him?
Similarly, why would Lionel Hollins leave Memphis for Brooklyn? Why would Memphis let him?
Sometimes I truly do not understand the NBA.

I think Toronto is offering him more money and control than Denver currently is.
Memphis reneged on giving Hollins an extension at the beginning of the season so he has the right to feel disrespected and go to a bigger market in Brooklyn with the opportunity to make more money.
...money, money, money...
At the end of the day the NBA is business.

Re: Around The NBA 2.0
I love the way Indiana are playing at the moment, so aggressive, especially inside.
