Per WT:Presti "We think Perk has a lot of value to our team"

I think he's referring to Perk's toughness and leadership. The perk hate on this board is going a bit too far. OKC clearly likes what he's bringing to the table as Presti mentions that they have no thoughts of using amnesty on him

(6/29/2013)
Pop and Lebron are officially scrubs due to questionable rotations and passive play in crunch time

His toughness and leadership are vastly overstated. Scowling and acting mean is not toughness and its certainly not leadership.

Pretty sure Bill Russell would sit on your bench and look mean for 1/8th of Perkins' salary.

Nice attempt at raising Perkins' trade value.

He is a lot of negative value to any other team.
I think Presti is trying to save his job.

Unless Presti is delusional, I really doubt he believes that. I mean, what else is he supposed to say? That Perkins sucks an adds nothing to our team?

I don't think Presti's job is in any danger

Probably trying to raise his value or give perk some confidence for next season. Maybe he'll even have a positive PER next playoffs

If toughness and leadership is what he's looking for, then Perk should be making Derek Fisher money.

I'm really disappointed in Presti. First the Harden trade, now trying to actually make us think Perkins is a competent basketball player...
