I won't speculate on what is going on, but for those who are asking, coke will destroy your adrenal glands and synaptic functions if used in the amounts quoted. Even if a good portion is shared, that's still a significant amount.
Combined with other vices, you can end up with a shell of a person in a few of years of partying. Some recover better than others when they stop and the extent of the damage will vary based on each individual's physical constitution, but it will cause damage to anyone over time if used regularly.
Coke by its very nature facilitates the delusion you can control it more so than some other drugs. When you get hooked on smack, the craving to fix becomes more about alleviating suffering than getting back that original feeling first experienced using it. It can be done with a maintenance dose.
The tolerance built up by regular coke use leads to ingesting greater quantities to cop the same buzz at which point it starts to really bring you down.
If a person is hooked on coke and regularly doing weed and booze, they are basically doing uppers and downers which accelerates their demise. If that were the case, you need to get that person into rehab. You certainly wouldn't want them at work.
