Ya I almost had it happen to me on the one tattoo I have. I was getting it for my grandfather that died and it had his last name in the middle (Hebert) and when the tattoo artist showed me his final sketch I wasn't paying attention and said ya that's fine I like it

Luckily I had a friend with me who noticed he spelled Herbert instead of Hebert. If it wasn't for my friend I would have the name Herbert on me for the rest of my life and would have felt like an idiot

much like i imagine durant feels now

Long story short, if you get a tattoo, check the final sketch VERY CAREFULLY
