What I like most about that rumor is that one of the things that Howard likes about Houston is the presence of Omer Asik.

Can anyone take measure of how many times I've flip-flopped about the following lineups?

PG: Lin/Bev
SG: Harden/Anderson
SF: Parsons/Whoever
PF: Howard/Jones/Smith
C: Asik/Smith
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

then you would most likely see this lineup in the 4th quarter

Howard/Parsons/Harden/Beverly/Lin

Did you see how much Dwight struggled next to Pau Gasol this year? And Gasol has a pretty good shot out to 18.

Also Dwight couldn't play next to Gortat, how would he be able to start next to Asik now?

There is 0% chance we start Asik with Dwight Howard in the frontcourt.

Granted they could probably play next to each other for a few minutes to create a monster defensive unit but i dont see them being able to play together for an extended period of time.

Asik would be a 16 mpg player off the bench(ala Gortat) if we get Dwight.

yup
unless Dwight or Asik develop an 18 footer like Marc Gasol

lol. He has pretty good form on his 3. Good extension and follow through. Not like his free throws, which are wrist flicks only!

He can definitely play with Asik. Asik at the 5. Howard as the floor-spacing 4!

I would name my firstborn 'Morey' if this ever happened.

Houston is not going to want any part of Bynum unless it is like a 2 year 20 mil with the 2nd year being Unguaranteed. Those knees are past scary.

Still do not think Howard will come to Houston.

looks there are only two in the derby now.....at least he is giving both teams time to make moves early on already.

Here is a great read on why Dwight goes to Houston. Now the question is does he leave the L.A. lifestyle.

i dont want dwight anymore. if we get him w/e. with no pressure on him, hopefully he learns some god daam post moves. he's been in the league way too long, worked with the greats. morey should write that in the contract. if he comes to houston, learn at least 2 go-to post moves. and a few more moves that he's average in. i dont wanna lose asik for someone thats not head and shoulder better than him.

he should go after a streth 4 instead and make something happen next offseason. 2014 offseason > 2013 offseason

The way I am keeping myself from getting too excited is constantly reminding myself of these things:

1. We get Dwight. YAY!

2. He stays with LA and we still have Asik. YAY!

3. If he stays in LA, I honestly think their organization will struggle for a good amount of time trying to "win now"
