I think Oladipo is probably a better prospect than Porter is. He's NBA ready with an NBA body. He's got just as much character, and he's an elite athlete and a better defender (Porter is no slouch).

And he's four inches shorter.

Still want Alex Len.....

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

We aren't spending back to back number 3 overall picks on sg's. Porter is at worst an even prospect to Oladipo and he is a legit 6'8 and a local product. Teddy will go with him so he can have something to sell the fan base, you can bet on it.

Take Otto Porter @3
Trade with Dallas for #13 and draft a front-court player.

Yeah, especially with Dallas wanting to trade out and save all the cap room they can get to try and land Dwight Howard or CP3.

Necrobump to only make this observation:
It's really nice to be, at this time of year, not obsessing over the draft lottery, ping pong balls, etc. It's nice to be playing.
Kudos to the players, the coaching staff, the Wizards behind-the-scenes guys, the front office and the owner's suite for a fun ride thus far.

Actually it would have been icing on the cake to have a 1st round pick AND be in the playoffs. Draft-talk is always fun. OTOH, it's probably best not to trust Ernie with any pick outside of the top-3.

Re: 2013 NBA Draft Lottery Thread
This was a fun playoff run but I'd much rather have had Leonsis disappointed, let both Witt/Ernie go, and we look forward to a better run next Spring with a lotto pick, Otto, Wall/Beal, and perhaps an imaginative GM who coulda done something more...
