I am expecting New Ownership group will not sign extension with him any longer. He made some bad decision last few years especially Rudy Gay contract and Let OJ Mayo walk for no return.

Most of the decisions made were not in fact Wallace's call, but of the former owner. Accepting the deal from the Lakers instead of Chicago for Pau is one, drafting Thabeet is number two, the dollars for Rudy is a third. Wallace is one of the best lemonade makers that we have seen, but I think it is pretty clear that it is highly unlikely he will be in Memphis next year.

Currently, Wallace is one of the candidates for the Kings GM position. Will he be hired for the new position, who knows? If he stays here, his role will be limited within the organization.

Return to Memphis Grizzlies
