And then they give the Spurs three full rest days. They don't play Game 3 until Saturday. Meanwhile, Miami will play Game 1 on Wednesday and Game 2 on Friday. I guess they're allowing plenty of time for teams to travel.

Yeah kind of a wacky schedule. Probably some issues with the arenas. Remember a few years ago when the Nuggets had that issue with the WWE booking Raw the night of what would have been a playoff game?

Interesting call by the refs there. Ginobli made no effort to play the ball, but can the contact really be considered unnecessary?

Wish they would just get rid of those different grade flagrant fouls and add a category for intentional fouls, that have the same consequence and are called when no effort is made to play the basketball.

I thought it was flagrant, at least by the way they have been calling flagrant fouls all season. And it was idiotic for Ginobli to commit that kind of foul. I thought he also tried to flop before he lost the ball as well and I'm glad the refs didn't call anything.

It seemed like Randolph wasn't getting it done tonight- parrtially because they were letting the Spurs push him around; thought he was clearly getting fouled but I guess they let contact go in the playoffs. Although if they didn't let contact go in the first place, then teams would eventually adapt and foul less.

Zbo got it going in the 3rd quarter. He got boards, some easy buckets but he was gassed out there I think.

Memphis missed 10 layups last night. It was unbelievable how many shots they missed at the rim.

Can Leonard slow down Lebron? If yes, SA's got a legit chance. If no, it'll be a demolition.

I like the Spurs, but I think it is a little premature to call it a series. The series with the Clippers had a similar start. I think the key is the Spurs have been able to stop Zbo. If Memphis can make adjustments, it could end up being at least a competitive series. Also if Parker is hobbled, it could be easier for Memphis to climb back in the series.

I just don't see the Spurs blowing a 2-0 series lead in the WCF again.

I think they'll give the Heat a good series though.

Norris Cole could make Parker have a tougher time penetrating and kicking the ball out to shooters. Duncan will have to guard Bosh all the way out to the perimeter. Birdman can't stop Duncan from posting up but he can bother his shot.

Manu Ginobili will have to turn back the clock and play much better for SA for them to get past Miami.

I disagree CCJ.

Tony Parker is gonna go have Cole damn near fouled out the minute he gets aggressive with him like he did with Nate Robinson. He's the master at falling at the right time to get a foul call and Cole's aggression would make getting calls even easier.....LeBron on the other hand....That'd be interesting, but there's no way he could do it the entire game.

Tiago Splitter could be huge in the NBA Finals.

The real question is who is Duncan going to guard? I guess we can get a sneak peak by looking at who Hibbert is going to guard tonight, but honestly - Miami doesn't play a C. They have 2 very good, very strong, and very quick PF's. And the crazy part is there's no regular season game film to look back on! The first game was "day-off-gate" where Pops left Duncan&co. home on their trip to Miami and got chastised by the league for being disingenuous. The 2nd game they played was the regular season finale and Haslem took James's spot while Bosh went 9-16 including three 3's.

Timmy would probably guard Battier. Splitter on Bosh. Assumin Miami goes

Chalmers
Wade
LeBron
Battier
Bosh

The Spurs would have to will their way in the paint and not leave 3 point shooters like Battier and even Bosh at times open. Bosh burned them with a 3 point game winner @ San Antonio at the end of March

Battier? Taking Duncan and having him out in the wing practically makes the paint Lebron's own personal moving sidewalk. Stationary passengers please keep to the right to allow moving Lebrons to pass on the left en route to 45ppg.

Indiana playing their brand of ball in Miami. But it can't last. The refs will benefit the Heat down the stretch of tight games. Very predictable.

That game was actually pretty unpredictable, other than Miami winning.
