So who are the cubs drafting this year?

I've heard either Mark Appel or Jonathan Gray. Is it a lock the cubs will take a pitcher?

I think so. They don't really have many "blue chip" prospects in the minors that are pitchers. I don't think there's a position player that would force them to reconsider.

Right now Gray and Appel have separated themselves from the rest of the pack. Scouts view them as the clear top tier. Couple that with the Cubs desperate need for pitching prospects, it seems like a lock we'll get one of them.
