If surgery is needed it could sideline Anthony from three to five months and could compromise his availability for the start of training camp in October.

They need to make a decision on surgery while time is still on their side. I'd rather they fix the problem instead of hoping the tear will improve with rest alone.

The drummer in my band got the same thing from playing squash. He had surgery and after about a month he was back to practicing with the band. 3 months sounds optimistic but reasonable for Melo. Obviously I'm not a doctor.

I KNEW IT!! Those Pacers knew what was in store for them so they took out our Main Hero. Now I hate those Hicks even more then I did previously.

Better start getting used to this stuff the core is old and there are a lot of miles on those bodies. Still glad its just a small tear so no real rehab needed.

He should get surgery now so its healed for the season...

I don't want him to wait 3 to 4 weeks then get surgery..

What does this mean? Is there any possible scenario where Melo misses the beginning of next season?

This is obviously going to hinder his offseason training regimen. Maybe he'll do more cardio since he won't be able to use his shoulder much.

Gives me more respect for melo but honestly he didn't get much blame from me it was Tyson and JR , but we really are just snake bit with injurys
