If you were going to trade Cousins, what would you want?

Obviously this applies to people who are open to trading him. What would you realistically expect? Positions? Specific players? Thanks cheers!

I would assume a Celtic fan?

I'm not open to trading Cousins because I do not feel full value is coming back, and right now his welcome isn't worn completely out. I do feel though we're close to having to make a decision and gauge his interest in staying. If he's wanting out then I'd put together a move. I'd want Jeff Green at a minimum and go from there.

Yea pretty tired of talking about possible Cousins trade scenarios.....I feel like a new topic is posted every month...Odds are we aren't trading him.

Yeah I think the problem is every team thinks in the right surrounding with the right coach, system and players, he will blossom. So do the Kings and hopefully we can put together a real team and he can blossom here.

The only thing I would worry about as a SAC fan is when do you cut the cord if he continues this? Eventually you're going to have to decide if you're trading him or keeping him and paying him. If you wait until he's due an extension and then try to trade him, I see SAC getting even less value in return

I need to wait to see how he does with a real coach and a system designed to win. Yes, there is a risk that his value will decrease further but I think that it is an acceptable risk.

People will forget all about his red flags as soon as the team starts winning again.

You'd either want draft picks or an older star type who you use as a motivator to ascend the ranks quicker. Problem is are you just sticking yourself firmly in the middle of the pack? Kings did a lot of that post CWebb and it wasn't pretty.

If we were going to trade Cousins it would need to be fore significant value.

In this draft it would be for the 1st overall pick and some additional value.

or a Quality starting center and a near all star level wing player or comparable asset.
