Moose is worth more than the #1 pick in this draft.

Your heart is in the right place, Pete.

But, I absolutely believe they would be overpaying for the #2 pick. McLemore hasn't played a day in the league and hasn't proven that he that kind of value.

Regardless of your personal opinion of Brandon Knight, he's worth at least a first round pick still. Moose shouldn't be used in trade for a draft pick unless it's trading for a top 3 pick in the 2014 draft.

I'd give them Brandon Knight and both second round picks for the #2.

I almost said Knight and the #8, but I still think that might be overpaying. If McLemore was in the 2014 draft class, he might not even be a top 10 pick.

I'd consider a deal around Knight and 8 for their pick and another piece to take Burke, but I know many here aren't fans of his.

I agree with Combo. I wouldn't trade Moose for any pick in this draft.

Wouldn't trade Monroe for anyone in this draft( even if Tobias were added as an extra).

How about this deal with Monroe and Orlando:

Stuckey + Monroe + CV + Trade Exception (cap space) to Golden State

Lee, #8, Singler, Knight to Orlando

Bogut, Barnes, Nelson, #2 to Detroit

Pistons draft McLemore
Pistons sign Paul Milsap

Nelson / McLemore / Barnes / Milsap / (Drummond + Bogut)

Knight, Singler, #38 for #2, Al Harrington, Big Baby Davis

Orlando adds a young pg, a solid backup wing and an early two while shaving nearly $40 mil off the next 3 years cap.

Pistons take McLemore @ #2 and MCW @ # 8 for the backcourt of the future.

Return to Detroit Pistons
