Paul George learned from watching Kobe.

Post#1 » by GeneralNash » Fri May 24, 2013 12:23 am

It would appear that Paul George grew up watching Kobe and idolized him as a kid.

Paul George adopts kobe's work ethic:

This guy is becoming a HOFer and in a couple of years will be lebron james rival IMO if he stays healthy and may very well bring indiana a ring one of these days. He does it on both ends and he is only 23.

His jumpshot needs more work perhaps but this guy is going to be a killer. He definitely showed some clutch plays in gake 1 against miami.

Makes you wonder if Lakers should save some money for him...maybe even have kobe mentor him. He is a CA native after all.

Paul hits free agency 2014. Imagine Paul George and Dwight Howard as the core as Kobe exits.

Definitely have to try to snag this kid with our FA money in the coming years.

I would think that he too, like Kobe, would want to remain with one team for life.

It shows you something though. It's important to get into the draft if there's a real difference maker there. Mitch is watching this draft to be sure. Shabazz could be another Paul George in a couple of years.
