The Twins have recalled Samuel Deduno to make a start against the Tigers on Friday night.
Minnesota had a roster spot available after optioning Vance Worley earlier this week.
Deduno, who was slated to start for Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday, threw a bullpen session instead to get ready for his first start of the year with the Twins.
