Trade #71? :

Philadelphia Sends:
$1,089,240 - Arnett Moultrie

Denver sends:
$1,082,520 - Perry Jones III

Salaries almost perfect.
Denver does this because we were bored.

Philly accepts - Obvious salary dump! Actually - I like the idea of using Perry Jones at the SF position with his unique skills. At 6'10" he can be a matchup nightmare and can still play the stretch 4 when necessary. Moultrie can be a beast on the boards - but has to develop to be a regular rotation guy and has a lower ceilign than Jones. Easy deal to do - and I was also driven by boredon. Thank RoyalWun - good deal.

with the most recent HOU trade vetoed, i've waived cj leslie to get within 15 roster spots.

trade #72

HOU sends:
Josh Smith 11,500,000
Chandler Parsons $926,500
HOU 2017 1st
Total: 12,426,500

POR sends:
Andre Iguodala 11,500,000
Kenneth Faried 1,367,640
POR 2017 1st
Total: 12,867,640

Salaries are within 125%. We do this to get two extremely athletic slasher (with great chemistry too) and should fit in the lillard/harden/hickson lineup very nicely. Good dealing DN!

Blazers accept. Really needed shooting in Rip City. Parsons had a breakout year shooting 40% from 3pt land. I also feel Josh Smith fits perfect with this squad. Very happy with this trade. Good dealin

Trade #73:

Denver sends:
Denvers 2014 1st
$07, 000, 000 - Monta Ellis
$01, 823, 280 - Kelly Olynyk
$00, 854, 389 - Eric Maynor

$09, 677, 669 - Total

OKC Sends:
$07, 550, 000 - Taj Gibson
$01, 329, 720 - Reggie Jackson
$01, 200, 000 - Hasheem Thabeet

$10, 079, 720 - Total

Deal works.
Good luck scoring on a Gibson+Hibbert front court. I really like Reggie Jackson. He has stepped up and has proven himself. He makes good decisions and has close-to-elite athleticism.

Spurs and Jazz have reached a deal

SAS Trade:
Thad Young $8,850,000
Nick Young $2,500,000
Coach Gregg Popovich

Total: $11,350,000

Jazz Trade:
Nicolas Batum $11,295,250
Coach Obradovic "European Popovich"
UTH 2015 1st (Top 8 protected)

Total: $11,295,250

This was a tough deal to do but we feel our coaching staff has the prestige to carry on Pops legacy with guys like Ty Corbin, Obradovic, Chad Forcier. Batum is back with LMA and is the absalute perfect complimentary SF to my core.

Yetis accept. We get a great young wing in Thad and the best coach in the game in Pop. We'll miss Batum, but this move will hopefully take us to another level.

OKC accepts. Was a tough deal to do cuz i give up lots but i was deep at sg so monta was no biggie prefer mclemore by far but the downgrade from lopez to pau was nessecary because of the lux tax and lopez's huge contract that goes to 16 mill next year and with pau we can get outa the tax for next year and still compete.good dealing ghost

We accept. I initially dealt Brook for Ben basically straight up, and now im not only breaking even but getting Monta added on his new friendly contract (7mill per) . Brook is an Allstar center (finished 5th this year in scoring) who has upped his rebounds significantly from years past and gives me that longterm frontcourt for years to come. Monta has upped his ast numbers and looked great as a PG with Jennings playing offball at times in MLKE and at 7mill hes a bargain avg 16/6/4 and is more of a win now piece then Ben. Good dealing Kinger was a long negotiation lol but we got it done.

Deal works.

Why?
This move isn't about fit, this move is about value. Ibaka is a beast. He's still super young, and locked in. Good luck getting into the paint in Orlando. It ain't happening. Ibaka also has a better mod range game then he gets credit for, and his offense isn't all that bad. He just has two chuckers on his team ; ) We also like KCP alot and think he can evolve into a good wing.
