He dislocated Rondo's elbow.

He broke Kobe's nose... in an effing all star game!

He's a coward and a punk.

Wade is a tough dude and he is real. He isn't one guy I would want to mess with.
He isn't afraid to assert his dominance.

In regards to OP's question.
Wade should not get suspended because it was clearly accidental and plus the actual contact is pretty minor if you watch the replay carefully.
This wasn't like Metta when he clobbered Harden.

People are too sensitive nowadays. Thinking suspensions should fly over some stuff like this.
Back in the day you had guys not afraid to be alittle tough at times and people didn't get suspended over light elbows.

The actual damage done to Kobe & Rondo was accidental. The plays that led to the damage were far from accidental and were way out of line. Inexcusable, just like the kick to Sessions nuts. Accident my ass. And yeah, it's hilarious seeing some dude get sucker punched down there

I don't even care if you're trolling man. There's so many people who''ll think Wade isn't dirty and everything he does is unintentional because they're blinded by their Miami Heat/LeBron bias. If he pulled half this crap on the streets he'd be in severe trouble.

Yeah, forearm smashes to the temple don't hurt and aren't dangerous at all

You seriously think that's on Stephenson? Wade could have easily went round him. That said, probably for the best what happened. Had Wade went round him I'm sure his inflated jaw would've still given Stephenson a sore one.

I love having Wade on the Heat team. That's called playoff basketball. Reggie Miller couldn't say much because he did stuff like that too when he played.

I disagree completely.

The plays that led to Rondo/Kobe getting hurt were completely normal. It was just bad luck.
There is zero reason to hold anger against Wade due to those specific incidents.

Inexcusable, just like the kick to Sessions nuts.

Hard to judge that one. They were tangled up and such.
If it wasn't accidental then yeah Wade should have been suspended for that and even I would call it a dirty messed up play.

And yeah, it's hilarious seeing some dude get sucker punched down there

I wouldn't wish that on anyone but it does look kinda funny.
There's so many people who''ll think Wade isn't dirty and everything he does is unintentional because they're blinded by their Miami Heat/LeBron bias.

I don't think Wade is a dirty player.
I have never seen him try to hurt someone in a sneaky way like a Bowen.
Yeah he loses his temper once in a blue moon (Hamilton / Collison) and does something stupid but that alone isn't enough for me to label him a dirty player. In general I don't think he is.

If he pulled half this crap on the streets he'd be in severe trouble.

Accidentally hurting someone while fighting for the ball or preventing an easy bucket isn't gonna happen on the streets.
If you are talking about pickup games on the streets then plays like that happen all the time. It is part of the game. This isn't golf it is a contact sport.
Also Wade is a strong dude and appears to have some training in martial arts.
I think he'd do fine on the streets.

Heat are the dirtiest team in the league. I'd suspend him for one game.

wait, I thought you just forgot to use the green font, you really believe this stuff?

Jumping at mid court to hit a player in the temple with your elbow and push him to the ground. You seriously can't do many things that are dirtier or more dangerous than that. Wade took two steps and launched himself at Stevenson.

And again, had Stevenson done the exact same thing to Wade, Wade would have collapsed in a heap and stayed there for a bit to try to draw a suspension.

When you get tangled up once or twice and a guy goes down badly or you absolutely elbow him, sure I can buy it as an accident. But its happened multiple times, sometimes with Wade looking like he should have been able to avoid the incident. Not to mention the odd coincidence that these tend to happen after Wade gets frustrated with a lack of a foul call or something.

So to me, it makes far more sense to call Wade a dirty player who tries to make these things look like accidents. Apparently he's better at faking accidental elbows than he is at flopping, although he gets away with both regularly.

I used to be a Wade fan too, but I like Lebron quite a bit more these days.

I'm 53 and have a bad knee.
I could have jumped to the SIDE and avoided LS with no problem.

It was obviously intentional and Wade deserves a suspension (1-2 games).

To ignore such douchebaggery condones childish violence and risks the health and safety, of some fine atheletes two ways. The obvious and secondarily from the beat down that that clown deserves.

From hear on I shall refer to him as:

How heat fans support this POS and try to find any logic behind all his dirty and dangerous plays is beyond me. I can't wait till Lebron and Bosh leaves Miami, you guys don't deserve them. In the mean time fan up!

I'm fine with no suspension on Wade, if that means Hansborough gets to go at LeBron without fear of suspension.

Oh, it doesn't mean that, does it? It means a double standard wherein the Heat can kick and elbow and gouge, no problem, but if an opponent does it then Stern reviews the tape afterwards, upgrades fouls to flagrants, and hands out suspensions.

Nope, I'm not in favor of that. approach. Although that surely is what will occur. Wade will play Game 3.

Agreed. When you're trying to get through a crowd, It's common practice to use elbows rather than hands these days

Getting through a crowd? I guess, if you define a crowd as two people at mid court with no other player within 10 feet.

I guess I should have used green font.....

I remember watching this live a laughing at the fact that an elbow to the head didn't even get a foul call, no chance he gets suspended though.

How anyone can still think that that is an accident is beyond me. Out of ALL that space on the floor Wade runs towards Stevenson? Then he jumps up and leads with his elbow to connect with his head? How can that be an accident?

It's like Dwight dropping elbows on everyone back in Orlando. He isn't "trying" to hurt anyone but he isn't exactly trying to avoid with those elbows either.

Playoff basketball huh? I suppose you will be ok with the pacers returning the favor with an elbow to wades head?
