He's a headcase? I am not sure if you know what you are talking about. No need to act like a Pacers expert because you finally watched one of our games.

I gotta agree with him a bit on Lance. He's been a bit of a headcase to varying degrees throughout his entire life, and especially with the Pacers. His assault charge shortly after draft day? His getting in fights with veterans his 1st 2 years? His choke sign last year to Lebron in the playoffs as he was planted on the bench? His constant flexing at the Knicks fans last series?

I think there will always be a "knuckle-headedness" level with Lance that I'm uncomfortable with. Remember, Ron had it all put together for long stretches here too, but the knucklehead will almost always emerge at some point. The question is, "To what degree?" and "How much are you willing to deal with?"

I don't know. I think you're searching deep right there trying to find anything on Lance. Flexing his muscles as he's happy to score on the Knicks in a physical series as underdogs? Whats next, you guys gonna tell me Mutombo was a headcase because did waved his finger after blocks or Russell Westbrook is a headcase because he flexes his muscles after dunks?

I don't think Lance is a headcase in the same way Artest he is. Lance is more of a "fearless" crazy in that he's not afraid to go 3 on one or take an ill-advised shot because he's so confident that he's going to make it. Yes, at times, that really hurts this team. At other times, it helps us because we have someone who isn't afraid at all of the big moment (See Game 6 against the Knicks).

If indiana had a decent PG, they would win it all this year. DJ is not very good and Hill is probably better as a 2 guard because he has trouble with pressure, does not handle the ball that well, doesn't start the offense well and his passing is only so-so. He was the reason they lost game 1 and Indiana got lucky that his trouble at the end of the game didn't cost them. Just because he can shoot the 3 doesn't mean he has played well. You need a good PG when you have a 4 and 5 that can hurt most any team.

I can't believe the analysts are not pointing this out. Don't look at the numbers, look at the game and how much trouble Indiana has on offense vs Miami. Same thing would happen versus Memphis, Chicago and San Antonio.

Indiana need Chauncey Billups. Forget about athletic dumbs like G.Green.

I'd love that. Awesome backup to Hill and we could keep that small lineup like we did with George/DJ

True that. Billups has veteran intangibles and should be able to bring it night in night out.

That project definitely failed. Nobody said they were perfect. It's easy to see which direction they hoped to go with Gerald Green. But, how do they get rid of his contract? IMO, he's got a guaranteed spot on our bench next to Orlando Johnson, atleast for next season. I don't see us being able to get rid of him.

I'd say the odds against trading Green are much higher than the odds that he can be coached up in the summer. We have to hope he was embarrassed and spends the summer in the gym and the film room.

if Granger comes back strong and accepts that this is P George's team, you guys will be scary. Also as long as West comes back and doesn't take a step back (due to age and fatigue) and Hibbert gets better, Stephenson develops some real consistensy, you guys will be good. Think the bench needs one more piece, too bad Gerald Green is locked up for so long, and also not playing.
