DEEP3CL wrote:Didn't I say the Spurs would look like old dust against the Warriors. Too athletic, can shoot it better than most teams in this league and has just enough size to equalize Duncan. Warriors winning this series.

DEEP3CL wrote:The next time Spur fans see their team live.....they'll be down 3-1. Believe that.

DEEP3CL wrote:The Spurs are in real trouble, the people that they were able to play in the series with us are none factors. The Warriors can get points in bunches, and their backcourt is unguardable. Plus the Spurs perimeter/ wing defense is horrid right now.

DEEP3CL wrote:The games tell their own story, as far as my prediction for the series I still feel this is going 7. I had the Warriors winning it in a dramatic finish.......just watch.

DEEP3CL wrote:
But like Kool Moe Dee said back in the day....." Times up punk", Memphis about to do damage on them. Anybody who really knows me here knows I despise the Spurs, I respect them but I have a hate for them. Bottom line this is their last chance to get far. Too many teams in the west are closing the gap on them, and if we get right next season we can also be a roadblock.

I'm not so sure San Antonio can beat Miami, you think Kawhi Leonard is going to shut down or slow Lebron down ? Hell no. Miami is tailor made to slice and dissect a team like the Spurs. Heat / Spurs ain't happen'in bro.

DEEP3CL wrote:
I still feel Memphis can win this series, each game tells it's own story. Game 2 will be different and the story will get different in Memphis. The Spurs got a lot of bogus calls in their favor today, but Z-Bo has to play better also.

DEEP3CL wrote:@Aki & EArl......there is no curse, the Spurs got lucky as hell in Game 2. I'm still not sold on the Spurs dominating this series, I see too many damn holes in their arsenal. Tony Allen called it in an article I read today, Tony Parker is the head you have to cut off to kill the Spurs. If Allen checks TP from the jump Game 3 could be different.

DEEP3CL wrote:Aki and EArl........you guys are too funny. And you both seem to love the Spurs chances way too much. I've seen their act way too long, once Memphis figures out Parker or decides to put clamps on him you'll see them struggle.

Are both of you really watching the game within the game ?

Memphis talked about it today, they seem to know what they have to do. And that's the funny thing about 7 game series, just takes a short minute to catch up to schemes. Memphis have toyed with the Spurs in the past, they're not just going to suddenly dummy up for no reason.

Man, I hope Wade gets a suspension for that people's elbow on Stephenson. The guy has gotten so arrogant, he makes Kobe & Lebron seem humble in comparison.

Yeah that was a bitch move by Wade. At worst he will get a fragrant foul though.

Stern is a little fagg.

Good work MistyMountain20, I won't back down from what I was feeling or said. But after watching Game 3 Memphis is clearly not ready to contend. They're losing the games on their own more so than the Spurs dominating them. The only piece the Spurs prepared for was shutting down Zach, they double him on the catch and even crowd him on missed shots to limit his effectiveness on the boards.

That series is effectively over and you could tell by the looks on the Griz players faces when it was over. I said how they lost Game 1 didn't bother them all that much, but now after further thought it's the execution or lack thereof that's cost them this series. The Griz just can't function in the chess match that takes place in tight games. All these games were lost in the last 2-3 minutes, and on top of the fact that Zach who was their go to guy in the Clipper series is on the MIA list down the stretch. This is leaving Conley and Mark.G to pick up the playmaking to close out games.....and they both lack crunch playoff experience.

Also @ makaveli.....

If Miami get's out of the Pacer series I wouldn't pick them to beat the Spurs......I got basketball IQ and a damn high one at that. Size kills, Miami lacks that. C'mon man.

Plus neither team went head to head, they played pussy and pouted and sat guys out both times.

I'm not taking anything back.......you really need to lay off man your act is getting old jock riding every post I put in here now. What I said had NOTHING to do with predictions, and based on what I saw from Miami the first two games I had every right to say " IF THEY GET OUT THE SERIES"

But you really need to stop....this is my final warning to you before things get nasty.

i think the lakers would be in the NBA finals right now if they had everyone healthy and got to play a tim duncan-less spurs with a hurt manu (like the lakers missing kobe/nash) in addition to the other teams with injuries the spurs got to play. spurs got quite a run of fortunate injuries on their way to the finals.

Must say that I agree......the zombies on that cemetery board have been bringing up the Lakers as if we were at full strength. But whateva if it makes them happy just beating the P&G F it.

Also Manu was putrid this game and really most of the series besides his 19 points in Game 3. At 35 it's safe to say his explosive days are over.

NBA sure does not want a Spurs vs Pacers finals. That would be a ratings disaster.
