94'Hakeem/11'Rose
08'Kobe/93'Barkley
05'Nash/04'KG
90'Magic/97'Malone
01'Iverson/95'Drob

I don't really like the kobe/barkley pairing cuz barkley's defense is clearly the weakest out of all the big men.

Barkley is one of the best offensive players here though. It's not that hard to get a Kurt Thomas sort of guy to fix his problem defensively.

Plus he would be rendered ineffective on the offensive end playing with a guy who has the ball in his hands so much. He would have have to pound the offensive glass even harder and scrap for his points. It's a poor fit for both of them.

1. Nash/KG quite easily. Both are highly intelligent players, i think they would have the highest chance for an instant success, and my team would have a great chance at being elite, or close to elite on both offense, and defense.

2. Magic/Malone, great combination, again, 2 highly intelligent player, i know i would have instant elite offense, and a high chance of success.

3. Hakeem/Rose. They seem like a good fit, and 94 Hakeem played on an amazing level, Rose would be a very good complimentery player. Again, good chance to have an elite team on both ends of the floor.

4. Kobe/Barkley. I'm not sure they are a good fit to be honest.

5. Iverson/D-Rob. I really don't like Iverson, and of course, Robinson wasn't the greatest playoff performer, so yeah, they would be my last choice.
