Potential Phoenix Suns Offseason 2014

Post#1 » by immortalone23 » Sun May 26, 2013 9:47 pm

I think that we shouldn't make any major move this free agency. We should offer a poison pill contract to either Paul George or someone like Evan Turner... what do u guys think?

Evan Turner isn't good.

I think we wait until January 2014 to begin worrying about the summer of 2014.

I hope you guys stop talking about Paul George cause it's never gonna happen.

I disagree.

You put him on a situation where he is played at his best spot and best role... And he will thrive.
The guy can dribble, can rebound, relatively athletic.... He can be a nice piece as 3rd option. SG/SF

Yeah but Turner will command $10m or more...is he worth that? I think he tops out at 15-7-5...Which is nice, but that's not what I'd want to invest $50m + in

I'd rather throw some coin at Favors or even Bledsoe (and George obviously, but if the Pacers signed Hibbert to a max offer there's no chance they don't retain PG at the max possible)

He can develop on our team, he needs a change of scenery like Tyreke Evans(who we should get, we can fix his knees)

Let's see, he can't guard point guards because he's too slow. He also can't guard small forwards because he's too small. He can only guard 2's, but he can't play the 2 because he can't shoot. He needs more than a change of scenery.

Go for broke with Josh Smith and Dwight Howard, draft Oladipo. Try to go from worst to first. Make or break McDonough as a GM and Hornacek as a coach.

Dragic/Marshall
Dudley/Oladipo/Tucker
Johnson/Markieff/Marcus
Smith/Scola
Howard/Gortat

Weren't there a few reports of Turner being a douche and overall bad teammate? Aside from being extremely average those other concerns are off-putting as well.

Like others have said, Paul George will be extended by the Pacers, no chance we nab him.

We could poison pill his contract like we should've done with Eric Gordon

Yea but we can't fix brain or idiocy. He has one of the lowest basketball IQs in basketball and he can't shoot.

Sign LeBron James to pair with Wiggins.

Run LeBron at PG.

The Pacers would be THRILLED to have Paul George on that contract. Eric Gordon is a POS and the Hornets matched him, George is a budding superstar, he is going to get the 5 year max from Indy, bet your balls on it.

He also sounds like Meatwad from Aqua Teen.
