I would LOVE KG for this team. But no way Boston trade him here for Humphries when they can probably still get Deandre Jordan and Bledsoe from the Clippers.

I call BULLS#!t on that trade rumor.

KG isnt leaving... and if he does it wont be to the nets or bulls. clippers i can see. they also arent moving him for cap relief, c level prospects or non lottery picks

I think there might be a lot of truth in what they wont move him for. But, I am not sure anyone will give them what they think they should get for him at this point of his career. I doubt Bledsoe/Jordan was or ever will be offered.

Boston can try to have an inflated trade value all they want. At some point teams just wont give up that much youth for a player passed a certain age.

I would agree with that... that they wont get the value they think they may or they hope to get. that said, if they arent getting good value on him, i really doubt they trade him at a bargain inside the division or conference... especially if they can get similar value elswhere

Thats the most likely scenario. He retires a Celtic.

I only see us getting him if we can also relieve them of Pierce and you have read my long shot scenario dependent on finding a taker for Crash.

I agree.

But the situation created by the Nets front office is so abysmal that this is all that we have left.

Billy King handicapped this franchise all for this season, which was by all accounts a failure
