I'm hoping he can become an elite Towel Waiver or Suit-Clapper. I think he's a hard worker and not bad too have around.

Or a team like Dallas that has a legit shot at adding one or two big name free agents will alos be looking to free up as much salary as possible. We should be able to buy a pick if ownership is willing to pay.

Fair point, but those are specific situations.

Also, I really hope we get the Dallas pick if it becomes available. If Detroit can get the 13th pick for next to nothing, that would be great.

Tom Moore: St. Joseph's forward CJ Aiken won't be working out for #Sixers Monday. He'll have second session for #Pistons instead. #76ers #PW #SJU Twitter @tmoorepburbs

He looks athletic, but can't shoot and played mostly as a PF at St. Joes. 2012-13 stats:

10.4 ppg (50% FG, 25% 3-ball, 79% FT), 5.6 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.5 steals, 2.6 blocks in 31.7 minutes.

Yeah, he can't create for himself and seems to be a poor rebounder for such an athlete playing 31.7 minutes.

I'm happy to see Augusto Cesar Lima worked out for us. He is a cool kid, very athletic, energetic garbage man. AFAIK his offensive game was very limited but he has a lot of international experience, he's been playing for Brazil national team for years behind Varejão and Splitter.

I think he has the physical tools and the work ethic to succeed, perhaps he need a better coaching staff or something I don't know. I hope he gets drafted, I think he is a much better prospect than Lucas Nogueira for example who is projected to be a late 1st round pick.

So you're saying the Spurs will get him?

Mlive....
"McCollum and Carter-Williams were among the potential first-round picks who worked out this week at the Pistons' practice facility, which is on private property and closed to media.

Centers Miles Plumlee and Cody Zeller were expected Friday, with Shabazz Muhammad planned Monday, as the Pistons pursue their common course, during their extended era as a draft lottery team, of waiting until late in the process to work out potential first-round picks."
