In one of the most ill-informed, idiotic, and plain stupid decisions, Katin Reinhardt has decided to transfer from UNLV, presumably heading to USC. He believes he has potential in the NBA as a pointguard, rather than the two-guard that UNLV played him at this year.


Strengths- Three point shooting, though he had bad averages this year due to his penchant of chucking shots up.

Weaknesses- Defense, handles, vision, passing, and lack of athleticism.

What do you believe his chances are in the NBA? Those that know him, who do you think he reminds you of? I think he's aiming to come out in the 2015 draft as a junior.

sounds like a typical overrated kid from mater dei who lacks self-awareness. i heard that it could be his dad who's trying to pull the strings though.

he didn't really do anything last yr to deserve any mention as an nba prospect. he is a truly awful decision maker and looks like he'd be completely physically outmatched at the next level. he seriously needs to dial back the flash and get smarter because his erratic play will just lead him on a path to the lowest levels of euro ball. his best bet is to try to become a knock down shooter (which would involve him significantly improving his shot selection) who can also run PnR. he does have some ball-handling ability, but he's sloppy with the flash and doesn't know his own limitations. he needs to settle the F down, so maybe going to a more controlled, better coached system would do him some good. with the way UNLV played last yr, it didnt look like many players were held accountable for their dumb play.

I cannot understand why he would be unhappy at UNLV, they basically let him do whatever he wanted on the floor for 2 seasons.

I really doubt he'll be a NBA player regardless of where he transfers too. The only real skill he has is the ability to chuck up horrid shots at a ridiculous pace.
