What is the worst nickname?

It's almost as if people don't even try . Some of the nick names I hear are worse than genocide . It makes me literally feel sick to my stomach when I hear some . Some nicknames like " the truth" or " king James " or " black mamba " are just fine . But there some real pathetic nick names are awful

My nomination : Marswag for marshon brooks.

Also any one of those nicknames that involve the players initials and their jersey number ....outside CP3 of course .

Any nickname you give to yourself is automatically bad. WOW has the additional defect of being really, really dumb.

vino, franchise, 75% of shaq's self proclaimed nicknames ( the big maravich, big cactus etc), big baby, baby shaq, baby jordan, grandmama ( the worst in my opinion )

I'm not a huge fan of Splash Brothers for Curry & Thompson. The Warriors board came up with better ones such as my favorite, "Kid 'n Klay"

Are you kidding me? That's one of the best nicknames, although don't really know why.
For me, I always hated Robert "Tractor" Traylor.
Also, any nickname that involves players initials and his jersey number.

Any self-nickname is terrible.

But the worst was stuff like T-Mac, J-Rich, etc. Those weren't even nicknames, they're just abbreviations. It's like saying "CA" is the nickname of California.

Marswag was made for people to laugh at, not necessarily to give any semblance of greatness towards the player. It's something for us to use during humorous moments, or just to find humor in times when it's not too obvious. Kinda like the phrase "Monta have it all."

No, it's like saying Cali is the nickname of California. T-Mac is a very natural way to say Tracy McGrady. You cut 3 syllables off and it's not reaching. Same with J-Rich. Those are good nicknames/abbreviations.

The only time those nicknames are dumb is when it's forced like LBJ for Lebron or D12 for Dwight.

I think Black Mamba is a pretty lame nickname. It was self appointed and bitten from Uma Thurman. Double fail.

WOW is definitely the worst nickname I've ever heard. I thought he was Flash anyways?
