I honesty still think we have a decent chance at drafting Burke. The only real teams I can see drafting him before us is Pelicans, Magic and Kings. But none of those teams are a lock to draft him either. I won't be surprised if we do get a chance to draft him but if we do, we take him. He's not perfect by any means but he is an upgrade from Knight who I think can be a good sixth-man. Burke would fit in with this team and could be the leader this team really needs.

I only see 2 - Magic and Kings, and both already have 6-0 PGs that they haven't really been successful with. Do they take a chance on another?

I don't think ORL takes him at 2 at all, so I think its probably safe to rule them out. The Kings with Mike Malone from GS could see Burke being his "Curry". That would be my biggest worry. But I don't see NO as a fit at all, as they have a great PG already in Vasquez. They probably take a big man or a SF imo

I don't think Burke gets past Sacramento no matter what. I don't think it would cost too much to swap picks with NOPE and draft Burke at #6 as I posted on my recent offseason plan a few days ago.

Ok, I thought Greivis Vasquez was a free agent this year. I think it all depends on if the magic feel Burke would be better than Nelson. I think Burke is going to land with the Kings most likely as well now but if he falls past the Kings I say he's ours.

If Malone is looking for his Curry, he'd probably look at CJ McCollum.

If Dumars wants Burke and he's on the board at #6 he should look to trade up there to get him.

Why is the Pelicans discounted from taking Burke?

Currently, word is that Orlando likes McLemore, but there's no way Burke gets past both New Orleans and Sacramento.

Neither team has a PG that will keep them from taking Burke. IT2 and Greivis can put up awesome fantasy stats, but they aren't anything special

Edit: Greivis is apparently out 12-16 weeks after getting surgery on both ankles. That makes the Pelicans even more likely to take Burke if they weren't already.

I still like the idea of trading up with Orlando....but would rather have McLemore over Burke.

MCW could get picked by Sacramento. Burke could slip to us for sure. WE could have the smallest backcourt in the NBA :-)

Last time I checked, all it took was one.

CLE - Noel - they tank for the 2014 Draft
ORL = McLemore - makes too much sense since they don't have a go to guy at all
WAS = Porter/Bennett - Wall and Beal locked in as the backcourt

CHA = no need for Burke... could take Olapido or Bennett here
PHO = could take Burke and try to trade Dragic due to his long contract... could take Olapido, Porter or Bennett
NOP = could take Burke and try to trade any of their guards... could also take Olapido, Porter or Bennett

so who would the Kings take? Is it possible they take MCW? Big PG, could play him with IT2 and Evans...

I don't even want Burke. Why draft a player who might be above average at the deepest position in the league?

1) CLE = Noel
2) ORL = Burke
3) WAS = Porter
4) CHA = McLemore
5) PHO = Oladipo
6) NOP = Bennett
7) SAC = MCW

8) DET = Shabazz, McCollum, Saric, KCP, or Schroeder
