I know, we ALL over value our talent on each board, maybe that's a little bit to high lol. I think the reported deal is good all round, maybe we throw in an ultra protected 1st in 2016, crazy protection TOP 25 lol, or a 2nd rounder or 2. I think it makes sense all around though, would Bledsoe make us TO competitive?

No, at this time in his career he isn't better than Jameer..I'm sure he's better than Udrih given minutes though, and we still finished the worst in the NBA. McLemore won't even put us over the top as he will not average what AA is averaging right now. We'd still be bad IMO, which is good, we'd just be setting ourselves up for a dynasty.

Only thing is, with a healthy Jameer/BBD they might push us to .500 or borderline .500 ... remember the start of this season? We came out pretty strong.

Jesus man how high are some of you on Bledsoe? He's a great athlete but not that great a point guard and iirc he was not that good in the playoffs in fact I remember him giving them a whole lot of nothing.

I'm not very high on him, but getting him for Afflalo and drafting Oladipo/McLemore with our pick is the exciting part.

Well, if McLemore is already taken, the Magic could draft Noel and trade him to the Clips for Bledsoe and their 1st rounder. Because, Noel won't survive in the NBA and that would be like highway robbery for the Magic in the long run!!!

Bledsoe had far and away his best game of the season against Orlando this season. Other than that, he's been OK, but he's not worth our pick, or any lottery pick in the future.

The reason Henny does this deal is if he thinks Bledsoe has a greater upside than any of the PGs in the draft, and specifically wants McLemore or one of the other two guards.

And while its true he didn't do much in the playoffs, he still has a lot of room to grow and mature. This isn't a deal to improve us significantly in 2013-14, it's for future seasons.
