Don't think Spo wants to stoop to that level.....though LeBron did touch on it in his postgame press conference. All we need to do is what we did in Game 3, so that the officials won't even be a factor. We've won games under those bad officating before, we can do it again if we play hard enough. It's now time for the Big Three to sack up and play like the elite players they are, and not allow the likes of Lance Stephenson and Roy Hibbert get into them.....this Pacer team is suppose to be foul prone.

I dont think "Stoop to that level" is the right choice of words.

Remember Phil won over 9+ championships forcing the issue. I dont recall Jordan having to fight for calls or Kobe. Yet here we are Lebron going to the line less than West, Wade getting no calls lets not even mention Bosh.

To be honest..

Spo should have done that against the Mavs as well...

LeBron shot just 20 FTs over 6 games that series......

Phil would have called out the refs after game 3 or 4. Just cause.

Spo has to have some more risk taker in him

This series feels like that Dallas series as well for two reasons:
1. Everytime we have a comfortable lead, we relax and they take advantage
2. Refs(rewatch game 3 of the dallas series more over the backk fouls than i've ever seen)

Yep. THE DEEP TRUTH....no one wants to talk about...

The Heat are a LeBron James 45/15/5 game from having no championship at all...

Now LeBron was the biggest reason (as a player) for the Heat losing to the Mavs the year before...

But there are things that could be done from above that could improve the players chances. however, Gametime 3 has broken down a lot of reasons for that.....(Mavs series and others)..

LeBron James somehow only shoots 3 Fts a game in the finals? Struggling to shoot or not...LeBron gets to the foul line..

I've touched on the fact LeBron thinks too much sometimes.....holds the ball......He does that even more when he knows the refs arent calling fouls. Thus..less drives to the hoop against the Mavs and him not attacking when Hibbert is in the game...

what a sorry bunch of lame exucsers I'm seeing here.

The Heat were in a position to put both G2 and G4 away - they didn't .

Stop blaming the refs.

We had them in foul trouble at the 7 minute mark in the 4th qtr and did not take advantage of it...

Lame excuse? More like reality. HIF what is the goal of a coach? To help his team win right? Can it be debated that were not getting calls? Wade is treated like a scrub by the refs, Bosh has Hibbert fall on top of him and Bosh gets the foul. Again if the goal of the coach is to help his team and history has show time after time that going public ripping the refs gets results why the aversion to it? Is it stupid pride because Phil Jackson with his 9+ rings laughs at that idea. Again the goal is to win period. If we get the game ref fairly Bosh isn't in foul trouble and Hibbert doesnt only have one foul on him. Think Lebron will get less free throws than West or even foul out last game?

Once again the goal of the coach is to help his team win and for Spo not to be doing what has been shown effective just baffles the mind. There really is no excuse for his inaction in this aspect, we can debate his rotations non stop but in this aspect there is no real debate. Force the issue get the fine get more calls on your side.

I can only say that you sound like Knicks fans.

sort yourselves out.

A game last 48 minutes. Refs make mistakes.

Thats a cop out response. You know im right. So again why is something so simple and fundamental that has been proven to work elude our coach? Remember the goal of the coach is to put his team in the best position to win.

What are you talking about?

I haven't even read your post, it started whinging on about coaching, so I knew it was a waste of time.

My point is that too many fans are blaming refs and especially a couple of plays at the end of the game. We have 48 minutes to put these chumps away not just the last 5 mins.

As for you and your Coach crap, I'd say it's down to execution that we're not bouncing the Pacers out of the playoffs. We clearly have both the skill and the plays to do so.

Can someone sum up, why you are blaming the refs? No hating just wondering....
For me the biggest mistake against the Heat was, Lebrons 4.foul (IIRC). I have never seen such an easy call against a superstar.(Even though George 4.foul was also a joke, but he is no Lebron)
And the 6. foul was a foul. They normally call it if Wade would use the pick, but he didnt. But this time it didnt matter because Lance S. lose his momentum and Wade penetrates, so it effected the play. Thats why I agree with the call.

I love when people take shots at people when the same could be said for everyones post. For ever post about someone hating on a coach/ref/player there is a counter for someone on the other extreme of how well the players are doing or how the coach helps andits the players failing.

down the stretch we got out rebound 16-4, is that players fault? Yes...But is the coach also at fault for going small? Yes.

This is a forum whre people express how they feel and what they see. Calm down on the insults.

Honestly I agree. I'm sick of all the insults on this board and it begins to make the place unreadable. Why try to provoke people by calling them names or comparing them to Knicks fans? It's just unnecessary.

I think the reffing has obviously benefited the Pacers. There are certain realities that come with that, and I'm surprised that Spo has not adjusted to those realities (as far as what personnel plays and when). At the same time, regardless of the reffing, we've still been competitive in every game and could have won in spite of the officiating. Players need to do their jobs and not be lazy on boxing out. You can't do it all the time except a few plays per quarter, because those are the plays where orebs happen and those accumulate and hurt you.

I agree, I mean, I know people get caught up in the moment and namecalling happens but comparing a fellow Heat fan to Knicks fans is just uncalled for.
