Unfortunately, did the same thing last year.

EDIT: If he doesn't pick by 3, I'll take his team. Fool us once, shame on him. Fool us twice, shame on us.

maybe going forward, the entry fee should be providing the phone number of a loved one. so as soon as the person in question is late on their pick, we can just prank call their great aunt julia in the meantime.

Would anyone with a pick soon be interested in swapping their 1st or 2nd and 4th for my 2nd and 3rd?

Are we drafting to win now? This will drastically alter my pick, lol.

draft as if you were a gm. it's not your money being spent, but it's your job on the line if things get **** up. positioning for this year and the future both matter.

although i will agree with you in that the criteria being judged is not that clear to me. what's better: a team that has a 40% chance of winning the title next year, followed by 3% for five years - or a team that won't even make the playoffs next year, but has a great young core in addition to nerlens noel and a top pick in 2014? i don't know how that is graded

thx. I originally wanted to pair Marc and Hibbert but I couldn't turn down the superstar potential and youth of Griffin

I think Griffin and Hibbert are complimentary players though so that works out great for you. Hibbert will clean up for Griffin on D.

Damn, I would've but Hibbert was my target. Rose and Hibbert would've been a solid pair IMO.

Frankly, just about any first rounder and Hibbert would be a solid pair.

Your #1 goal should be winning a title, period. Doesn't matter when, but winning a title. Obvious, the more titles you put yourself into contention to win, the better.

The thing with drafting rookies & such is you really don't know how they'll play out. 10 years ago if you had Eddy Curry & Darius Miles on your team everyone thought you had a great young nucleus...well see how well that worked out?
